Cheyenne WV Donates to Youth Alternatives
June 5th, 2014
Wallick & Volk Mortgage announced their $5,000 donation to Youth Alternatives – Cheyenne, WY, a family-centered program designed to respond to the needs of children ages 5-18 in Cheyenne and surrounding communities.
Youth in our program are experiencing a variety of problems ranging from emotional and behavioral problems to minor growing up issues. The Youth Alternatives program intervenes in the lives of young people at an impressionable stage in their growth before negative behaviors become solidified. As a result, young people are better able to explore new, more appropriate behaviors that help them see their strengths and the world as less hostile.
We strive to strengthen families in the five primary areas:
- Problem solving
- Handling differences
Cory Kasten, NMLS #262697 | WY MLO #218, Manager of Wallick & Volk’s Cheyenne branch offered this statement, “Wallick & Volk is proud to support an organization that goes above and beyond to help families and bring new hope to Cheyenne communities.”
